Becky has been with Elite Skating & Hockey Development for the past 6 years and is currently Head Coach for the Intro to Figure Skating programs and for the Learn to Skate programs. Becky brings a positive attitude on the ice and can break down skills easily for skating success. Experience around the rink includes, figure skating competitively for over 20 years, through both competing individually in free skate, and currently skating on a synchro team alongside 15 other skaters. Becky has also achieved her Gold levels in skating skills and dances.
From Becky: “I believe in consistency, hard work and having fun, which alongside personalized correction allow all our students to flourish towards their goals. When I am not at the arena coaching or skating, I spend my free time outdoors, hiking or camping with my dog, and I also enjoy drawing & painting.”
My kids have been mostly trained by Coach Becky since they were in Learn To Skate Program Level 3. My kids had attended different skating lessons/club before but they had not shown much improvement with their skating skills after their classes ended. After I registered them for skating lessons at the Langley Sportsplex, their skating skills improved a lot. Coach Becky is very professional and friendly. My kids really enjoy learning from her!
